Top Ten Reasons Why You Should Buy the Samsung Galaxy Note Smartphone

July 20, 2012 By Tommy 1 Comment

The Samsung Galaxy Note features a very large screen. As a matter of fact, it succeeded in defying the standards as it is one of the world’s first hybrid smartphones. It’s a hybrid because it looks like a mini tablet but its features and specs can somewhat be placed into the category of smartphones. Samsung itself stated that the device is neither a tablet nor a smartphone; it’s a ‘Note’! For others, the Galaxy Note can be considered as a ‘phablet’ – a term that refers to the combined features of a smartphone and tablet.

Shortly after it was released, the Samsung Galaxy Note received a lot of mixed reviews. Others have come to like the Note’s impressive features as it makes use of its revolutionary S-Pen technology. On the other hand, there were also those who were disappointed with the Note’s bulky size as it cannot be easily tucked on one’s pocket or purse. If you are still doubtful and you cannot seem to find a reason to convince yourself to buy the said smartphone, you might as well consider these top ten reasons.

The larger the screen size, the better: If you’re into graphics, photos, movies and doodles, the Samsung Galaxy Note’s large 5.3 inch screen is much better because of its 800 x 1280 pixels of full screen resolution. The images will have a better quality with a wider viewing angle. No need for frequent zooms especially when you’re looking at your photos.

Stylish S-Pen Stylus with S-Memo:  With the Galaxy Note, you can draw and sketch. Its revolutionary S-Pen technology will allow you to doodle on your memos and photos.

It comes in three colors: Other phones will not give you the freedom to choose your color. It’s either black or white but with Note, you can have it in pink, white and black.

Its Gingerbread OS can be upgraded to Android ICS 4.0 or more: You will never feel outdated because the Android firmware of the Galaxy Note can be updated to Android Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly bean.

It boasts its 8MP primary camera and 2MP secondary camera: That’s right. The Galaxy Note is equipped with two cameras. The one on the rear comes with auto focus and LED flash while the one on the front can be used for video chats.

The rest of the reasons why you should buy the Samsung Galaxy Note are as follows: it supports Wi-Fi, 3G and 4G networks, it comes in two storage options – 16GB and 32GB, it is powered by Samsung’s 1.4GHz dual core Exynos processor with Mali-400MP graphics, it flaunts its Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and its battery can last for more than 12 hours. Price wise, the Note is currently being sold at Amazon for 550 US Dollars.

The note is actually nice though. I had the opportunity to use it once and I loved the experince! The cool part is the autofocus on the camera, also the pen ah the pen thats really sumthing! But recording with it is like a punishment! Seriously! To hold it and record for even half an hour is phew! Nice one though.
