With these apps you don’t have to manually assign IP addresses or do anything else to connect your devices. Simply set up the apps, assign password to protect your network and search for WiFi signals on the devices you want to connect with, enter the password to authenticate the device and just like that your device will connect to your Windows PC WiFi network. hi nwosu, thanks for the post.atleast i learn 3 tips from it. but if i may ask is wifi and gprs hosted and run by one team?. how to download videos from youtube to mobile phones.
Nice list. I have used the first two. I found connectify as an efficient tool. But, in the free version, the ads on them are annoying. I strongly feels that the Linux also requires some tools like this.
I have tried connectify and it worked great but i stopped using it when i discovered i can share my WiFi without software on Windows 8.
Hi Nwosu,
Do those apps work on Windows phones as well. Please I need to know.
No it doesn’t. It only works on PCs but you can connect to a shared network on your Windows phone.
