Top 5 WiFi Hotspot Apps for Windows

March 24, 2014 By Nwosu Desmond 6 Comments

It’s common to see people ask “What are the best WiFi Hotspot apps for Windows?” or “How can I turn my Windows PC into a WiFi Hotspot?” Today I want to share with you the top WiFi Hotspot apps for Windows so you can easily share your PC’s internet access among your WiFi devices so as to save the cost of multiple internet access subscriptions.

You can share a single internet access using WiFi Hotspot applications to multiple WiFi devices. In these days when you see people with tablets, smartphones, digital camera with WiFi capability, wireless printers and other WiFi devices, it will be expensive to subscribe for internet access to the individual devices when you can simply share the internet access on your Windows PC and save cost.

WiFi Hotspot apps allow you to connect multiple WiFi devices to a Windows PC with internet access simultaneously. With these apps you don’t have to manually assign IP addresses or do anything else to connect your devices. Simply set up the apps, assign password to protect your network and search for WiFi signals on the devices you want to connect with, enter the password to authenticate the device and just like that your device will connect to your Windows PC WiFi network. Now let’s see the top WiFi Hotspot apps for Windows PC.

Nice list. I have used the first two. I found connectify as an efficient tool. But, in the free version, the ads on them are annoying. I strongly feels that the Linux also requires some tools like this.
