June 9, 2013 By Nwosu Desmond 32 Comments

Few years ago people wouldn’t bother about Tecno phones but the latest additions have redefined the general ideas people had for Tecno phones.

Tecno may soon dethrone all other phone makers in Nigeria as more and more people are now going after Tecno smartphones. The newly released Tecno phones have attracted a vast majority of mobile phone users who finds Tecno products cheap and affordable, and the best part is that its specifications are similar to the Samsung Galaxy series. Another factor may be because these Tecno phones are running on Android OS platform.

For some months now, Tecno N3 and N7 phones have been considered the top selling smartphones in Nigeria a feat achieved by the high quality and specification of the smartphones. Tecno will be remembered as the smartphone brand that transformed Nigeria into a smartphone market. The competition is very strong. IF techno could add some new hardware designs to their phones, i believe they will edge samsung out of the market. They can introduce better display like Apple or extra features to make their phones stand out! this would be a good market strategy to draw customers. Consumers want the best and can pay any price for a good product!

Thanks xtremeideaz for your wonderful contribution, yes i believe if Tecno can improve a little more on their hardware, then Samsung will be history in Nigeria.

Hey there Nwosu, this is a nice post…. Tecno are not making it easy for other mobile phone manufactures in Nigeria with the varieties of cheap android phones! Mehn… it’s just too cool.

Now I’m confused, is Tecno phone also a smartphone? What’s the difference by the way?

While N3 came with 140MB after pre-installed apps, the latter came with 109MB. If this is the case generally, it means we are being riped-off of our money because what they advertise and offer for sale is not what we get after purchase.

Wilson you cant be more correct and with these introductions they will definitely capture the mobile phone market.

Well while i may not be particularly interested with any other model than the N7 and F7 i have never considered the available spaces for the other models since i already know they do not meet the memory requirements for any phone i will want to use.

Great post. I believe that their sales will skyrocket as soon as Blackberry releases BBM on android. A lot of people are tired of BB and Techno being an android is the most affordable giving you value for money. I am considering the F7 too.

I cant wait to get the F7 myself, just haven’t found it in shops around me, Tecno phones are even going to grow more popular in the coming months and i hope they introduce even better models. Thanks for your comment.
