Right Inbox – Schedule emails in Gmail.

Have you ever wished you could compose an email now and schedule it to be sent on a later date or time? Maybe you want to send an anniversary email to your wife, or send your boss a birthday message on a later date and you wished you could compose the mails now and schedule it for a later date, because you do not want to forget, Right Inbox is just the perfect add-on/extension for you. With Right Inbox you can schedule emails in Gmail, set email reminders, track sent emails and receive notifications once it’s been read, you can even track clicks from a sent email. If a link from the message gets clicked by the recipient you will be notified.

Right Inbox is compatible with Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari browsers.  Right Inbox simply adds a “Send Later” button to your Gmail, this button allows you to schedule your messages for later date and time. You can even send yourself email reminders with Right Inbox.

Install Right Inbox

You have to first of all install the Right Inbox extension from their website. So visit their site with either Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari web browsers.

On successful installation of Right Inbox on your browser, you may be prompted to restart your browser.

Next visit Gmail and sign into your account, a notification that ‘Right Inbox for Gmail is ready’ will be displayed, click the “Continue” button.

Next you will be required to grant Right Inbox access to your Gmail account so the ‘Send Later’ button will be implemented. Click on the ‘Grant Access’ button.

How to Schedule Emails for Later in Gmail with Right Inbox:

To schedule an email for later with Right Inbox, simply click on the ‘Compose’ button on your Gmail dashboard.

Compose your email body and fill in all the appropriate fields like the ‘To’ and ‘Subject’ fields, then click on the ‘Send Later’ button.

You can choose from the drop down when you want the scheduled email sent. You can even specify a future time by choosing ‘at a specific time’.

Then when you have chosen the right time to send the mail, click the ‘Send’ button and the email will be scheduled.

Note Scheduled emails are saved on the ‘Draft’ folder till the scheduled time and it will be sent and moved to the ‘Sent’ folder.

Conclusion:

With Right Inbox you won’t have to forget sending that important mail again, simply compose and schedule it when you have the time so you don’t have to forget it. My best part is scheduling for a later date, now I don’t have to miss that anniversary email anymore, I can compose and schedule it for the next 20 years.

    This is definitely a cool add to Gmail and its compatibility to Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari browsers is yet another added advantage as these browser user can as well use this service.
