The release of Microsoft latest operating system – Windows 8 saw the release of Microsoft tablets (Microsoft RT Windows and Microsoft Pro). An earlier review of the Microsoft Surface tablets on this blog ‘Introducing the Microsoft Windows Tablet – Surface’ explained the differences between the two Microsoft tablets, and their features. Today I am going to look at the Microsoft Surface prices in Nigeria.
Microsoft announced that the Microsoft Surface Pro will be released 3 months after the release of the Microsoft Surface RT Windows which puts it somewhere within this month. Rumor already has a date for the release to be 9th of February, 2013.
Microsoft Surface Prices in Nigeria:
Prices of Microsoft Surface RT in Nigeria: The Microsoft Surface RT Windows which has two versions, the 32GB and 64GB versions are sold for $499 and $599 respectively which is equivalent to N77,310 and N92,803 respectively. The Touch cover is just $100 which is N15,493. So if you want to purchase the Microsoft Surface RT Windows 32GB with touch cover, it will cost N92,803 while the Microsoft Surface RT Windows 64GB with touch cover will cost N108,296 only.
Prices of Microsoft Surface Pro in Nigeria: The Microsoft Surface Pro which will be sold for $899 (64GB) and $999 (128GB) will cost around N139,282 and N154,775 respectively without the touch cover. If you want to purchase the Microsoft Surface Pro 64GB with touch cover, it will cost around N154,775 while the Microsoft Surface Pro 128Gb with touch cover will cost N170,268 only.
Microsoft has announced that the Microsoft Surface pro will soon be available in the USA with date for other parts of the world to be announced later. Before the end of February, you can purchase the Microsoft Surface Pro if you are in the USA and will have to wait a while longer to purchase it if you are in other parts of the world.
Where can I buy Microsoft Surface RT and Pro in Nigeria?
Microsoft Surface Pro is not yet available in Nigeria at the time of this publication, but the Microsoft Surface RT Windows is currently on sale in Nigeria at Jumia online store.

pls, I just recently cracked the screen of my Microsoft surface RT tablet. I would like to know where it can be replaced and the cost of replacement.
While i may not be able to tell you the exact cost of the screen replacement, i will recommend you go to computer village in Ikeja. You should be able to change your Surface screen there.
