Login to multiple Gmail, Yahoo and Facebook accounts using Multifox.

September 4, 2012 By Nwosu Desmond Leave a Comment

If you have multiple Gmail accounts, then you will be conversant with the task of checking all your emails every time, logging in and out of one account to check another is definitely frustrating. Have you ever imagined checking all your Gmail accounts on different tabs of the same browser at a time? Same goes with checking multiple Yahoo mails, multiple Facebook accounts etc on the same browser. Today I am going to show you just how you can check multiple Gmail accounts on one browser. Note you can also use this method to check multiple Yahoo and Facebook accounts.

Most browsers are set to remember cookies and they will always recognize an already logged in account even on a different tab. I am going to show you two methods you can use to achieve this. First is to visit google.com/accounts and click the next to “Multiple sign-in”. With the Multiple-sign in option enabled for your Gmail account, you can sign in with up to two more accounts from the “New account” menu in the upper right corner, and then you can toggle between the different accounts.

How to login to multiple Gmail, Yahoo and Facebook accounts using Multifox:

Step 1 – The next method is my favorite as it is even easier to use. This method involves downloading and installing Firefox Multifox plugin. This extension allows Firefox to connect to websites (Yahoo, Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, etc) using different usernames simultaneously. You can open multiple accounts on different tabs without any interfering with the other.

Step 2 – After installing this extension, restart your Firefox. Then when your Firefox browser loads again, visit gmail.com or yahoo.com or facebook.com as the case may be and login to your account.

Step 3 – Open a new tab in “New Identity Profile” by right clicking on the tab and choosing it from the drop down, then sign in to another account. You can open as many new identity profile windows and sign in as many accounts as you want.
