How to hide from your friends on Facebook Chat

Today I want to teach you how you can hide from some of your Facebook friends in Facebook chat. Imagine having 100 people trying to chat with you at the same time on Facebook chat. How can you handle it? I know a lot of sites have written about this topic extensively but most times the message get lost before the end of the post that is why I am going to keep this one as easy and brief as possible.

How to hide from some friends on Facebook Chat: You can either hide from all your friends or just some few friends. To hide from everyone, you can simply decide to go offline on the chat toolbar option.

Click on the options and choose “Go Offline” and you will appear offline from all your friends. None of them will see you online whenever you are online.

Another method of hiding either from few of your friends is to a bit different. Choose “Advanced settings”

From the options listed above, you can decide to allow all your friends to see you except some certain people, simple choose the first option and enter the names of those you don’t want to see you and save.  The second option will allow some of your friends to see you, when you choose the second option, you will have to enter the names of those you will want to see you whenever you are online while the others you didn’t enter their names will not see you whenever you are online. The last option to go offline is same as discussed above. That way you will appear offline to everyone.
