In an earlier article titled “Traffic without SEO and Social Media”, I listed BroadedNET as one of the ways you can generate and drive massive traffic to your blog no matter how much your SEO skills and Social media campaigns sucks.
BroadedNET has provided webmasters with an opportunity to generate web traffic without SEO and Social media. The idea is quite a simple one; blogs are interconnected in a network called BroadedNET and share each others posts on a sidebar widget to generate traffic.
Imagine your blog post being displayed on the sidebar of 2000 blogs at a time? Imagine how much traffic you can generate for your blog by getting your blog posts to appear on over 2000 blogs. This does not require SEO or Social media; it’s simply a new out of box idea by the genius himself – Enstine Muki.
How BroadedNET works
It doesn’t take much to get started, you join the BroadedNET network, install the BroadedNET widget on your blog to earn credits for you, then you can add your blog posts to the BroadedNET network to be shown on all the other blogs on the network with the credits you have earned.
BroadedNET network covers a wide range of categories such as Blogging, Business, Education, Family, Fashion, Frugal Living, Gaming, Graphics, Health, Lifestyle or Life, List Building, Make money online, Mobile, Personal development, Personal finance and Pets.
You can bid for clicks on impressions specifying how many credits to give for clicks or impressions. When your blog post is shown on the sidebar of other blogs and gets clicked the amount of credit you specified will be deducted from your BroadedNET account.
But the best part is that you can also earn free credits by adding the BroadedNET widget on your blog to display other people’s blog posts on your site, and you earn the amount of credit they specified when someone clicks on the post.
You can also buy credit from BroadedNET to promote your campaigns quicker even if your blog is not part of the BroadedNET network.
My experience so far with BroadedNET:
I was one of the earliest testers of BroadedNET and right from the first day I got invited to test the service I knew the problem of blogging has ended especially for new bloggers looking for a way to generate traffic to their blogs without SEO and Social media.
I created my account and added campaigns and once it got approved, I started seeing traffic to my blog. It doesn’t take much to get started with BroadedNET.
How to setup BroadedNET on your Blog
After you have joined the BroadedNET network and activated your account, the next thing you should do is to add the BroadedNET widget to your blog so you can earn free credits.
Then search and install the BroadedNET WordPress plugin from the WordPress repository. Activate the installed plugin and navigate to Appearance > Widget and drag the BroadedNET widget to your sidebar.
Then login to your BroadedNET account and navigate to “My Account” and copy your API code. Paste the code on the space made for it on the widget you have dragged to your sidebar. Add “Recommended from BroadedNET “ as your title.
Choose the category of articles you want to display on your blog and choose either “Article Titles” to display article titles or banner sizes if you want to display banners. Then choose the number of entries to show, here you can add 5 or 10 depending on the length of your sidebar.
For Blogger blogs, simply use the widget generator to generate widget code for your blog. You can customize the widget according to your blog design using the tools provided on the widget generator. Copy the generated code into the sidebar widget of your blogger blog and save.
After you must have registered your BroadedNET account, setup the widget on your blog the next thing to do is to create your campaigns.
Login to your BroadedNET account and click on the “Create Campaign“.
Choose the Text (Article) campaign if you want to just add your articles to the network or Banner campaign if you want to use banners for your promotion. Affiliate products can also be promoted using this method.
Enter the article title and destination URL (URL of the article you want to promote).
Choose the article category and bidding method. I often use clicks in this case.
Add your pricing credit which is the amount of credit that will be deducted from your BroadedNET account when your post is clicked from the BroadedNET widget in any site it appears.
Then click on the “Create Campaign” button to submit your campaign for approval. Once it is approved it will be shown on all the sites that has the BroadedNET widget installed on them.
Here is a sample of the BroadedNET widget showing posts from blogs on the BroadedNET network on my sidebar.

Just wait for its approval.

I’ve given the idea some thought although I’m a bit concerned about the quality of the sites you’ll be appearing on? I suppose those just starting out wouldn’t complain about some free and relevant traffic, though.
