Just recently Google announced they will be retiring Adsense for feeds. Many publishers over the years have earned quite a reasonable amount of income from this product. This is not the first time Google is retiring a part of their Adsense program, Adsense for videos and Adsense for domains were retired some time ago. Same fate is facing Adsense for feeds now. So the question in every publishers lips is “What will be the best alternative to Adsense for feeds”?
Google in their official blog stated that though they will be retiring Adsense for feeds by October 2, 2012 they will be totally shutting it down by December 3, 2012. They also stated that publishers can continue to use Feedburner URLs powered by Google, so they won’t have to redirect subscribers to different URLs. Though the Adsense for feeds is getting retired, Google said this change won’t affect any other products like Adsense for content, mobile etc.

I would really like to try out BuySellAds, I had applied couple of times, but to No avail, they are not even replying my approval for their Affiliate program. :(
I wonder why Google is retiring these services. First it’s Adsense for Domain, now it is Adsense for Feed, without even replacing them with nothing. This will means reduction in earning. Thanks for the alternatives though. I’ll try them out.
Google is trying to prune down on some of the products they feel they could merge with others to save cost and resources, i just hope they don’t retire feedburner itself someday.
I applied once and got accepted, i will definitely use their RSS monetization method for my RSS feeds.
When you talk about the traffic i have that get more than 100k impressions monthly still don;t know why buysellads ain’t accepting me….
Maybe you have to personally write them to know reasons for not accepting you….
