There are so many definitions for video conferencing but they all say almost same thing. I am going to give you a very easy to understand definition of video conferencing so you’ll understand better. Video conferencing is simply a communication technology that integrates audio and video to connect users anywhere in the world live. It is a live connection between people in different locations, video conferencing involves the use of a computer, a camera, a microphone, a video screen and a sound system and most importantly a high speed internet connection.

Now you may be wondering who needs video conferencing, I’ll say in as much as companies, corporate organizations mostly are in need of video conferencing to save money and enhance productivity, everyone who has a loved one’s far away needs one. Video conferencing helps companies save cost by helping to eliminate the need to travels among the staff since no matter where you are you can get connected to have a meeting with other staff. Schools also need it. Almost any organization that holds meetings for people from different locations need video conferencing software.
