Two Nokia Lumia Dual SIM phones you should buy

June 12, 2014 By Nwosu Desmond 7 Comments

Nokia has joined the dual SIM smartphone war with the introduction of two Lumia Dual SIM smartphones – Nokia Lumia 630 and 720 series. The Nokia Lumia Dual SIM phones will bring competition to the likes of Samsung, Sony, HTC and Tecno who have gained a significant market-share with their Dual SIM phones in Nigeria and other emerging markets.

You will agree with me that the Nokia Lumia series have been a great success in recent years and have really reinstated Nokia as a worthy competitor in the Nigerian mobile market. While these Nokia Lumia Dual SIM phones also have a single SIM variant, they both have same design and shape.

The Nokia Lumia Dual SIM phones are running on the latest Microsoft’s Windows 8.1 and comes in different colours such as Green, Orange, White, Black, Yellow and Magenta. While the Nokia Lumia 630 features a 4.5 inch display, the Nokia Lumia 720 is 0.2 inches smaller (4.3 inches).

Both features a 512 MB RAM and an 8 GB internal memory space with an expandable memory card slot of up to 128GB and up to 7GB worth of free cloud storage space. The Nokia Lumia 630 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, quad-core processors clocked at 1.2GHz each. While the Nokia Lumia 720 Dual SIM comes with Qualcomm’s MSM8227 1 GHZ dual-core processor.

Other notable features on these Nokia Lumia Dual SIM phones are the 6.7MP and 5MP camera for the Nokia Lumia 720 and 630 respectively and the cheap prices. These Nokia Lumia Dual SIM phones are quite affordable especially the Nokia Lumia 630.

Nokia Lumia 630 & 720 Prices in Nigeria

The Nokia Lumia 630 and 720 phones are rapidly growing in popularity in Nigeria due to their cheap and affordable prices in the mobile market. A lot of people are going for these phones because they provide you a second SIM slot. Instead of carrying two phones around every time you can simply buy Nokia Lumia 630 or Nokia Lumia 720 phones and have your two lines in one phone all the time.

You trust Nokia batteries to know that the Nokia Lumia 630 and 720 have an awesome battery life and come loaded with lots of apps like WeChat, Whatsapp, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Vine etc.

They also come preinstalled with Nokia Maps so you will never get lost again, no matter where you are in the world. You can also change the covers with different colours and always make your phone look new all the time. One interesting part is in the customization of the tiles with your own images as you wish.

They are indeed awesome phones to choose from. I also like the Nokia Lumia 630, seems like a better choice than the 720 right?

I’m currently using Samsung Galaxy trend, as it’s operate on android so sometimes it become too slow. So I’m seriously looking for windows phone and Nokia is the best alternate. And after your review I guess I would go with Nokia Lumia 630.

Nwosu, I am a die hard iOS user and would not contemplate anything else (really, once you use on, you’re converted for life!).

I’m currently contemplating the 720 for my better half and this entry of yours will surely play a part between the phone and Xperia L.

Do have a very great day.

    Always,
    Terungwa
