Reasons to upgrade from Windows Xp to Windows 7

December 28, 2011 By Nwosu Desmond 3 Comments

Windows XP is a windows operating system which has been succeeded by two operating systems windows vista  and Windows 7, and i wanna give you some reasons why you shouldn’t be using Windows XP till now.

Reasons to upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7:

First is drivers, yes call me a driver junkie. Windows 7 comes with all drivers for most mother boards,so  you won’t have to start running around looking for where to download or fix a driver issue from time to time as its done on windows XP. Windows 7 automatic update is classic. you’ll never know what your system is doing for you when you are not even aware.

Secondly, Windows 7 has a crash recovery capacity. So many times my system hes been fixed automatically by windows 7 while if it had been on windows xp, reinstalling the OS would’ve been the only solution.

Windows 7 was designed in a way that navigation is easier. You can even pin your favourite programs on the taskbar, arrange and slide items. You can customise alot of things just the way you want it.

Windows 7 is faster, the boot time is relatively faster compared with windows xp. More hardwares now have better integration with windows 7 due to the driver thing i said earlier….windows 7 has alot of drivers inbuilt on it.

Windows 7 can boast of a more secure security measures than any other windows OS now. The built in troubleshooters is smarter in Windows 7, once it detects problem it will help you diagonise the issue instead of you looking all over the internet for solutions.

It has better looking games compared to Windows Xp. The Windows media center is enough reasons for anyone to upgrade to Windows 7. Networking through the homegroup is even easier, more battery life and better efficiency are more reasons why you should upgrade now.

I have not really seen any reason to change from XP to W7, but with your suggestion here, i may consider it soonest. At least, it can speed up my computer.
