How to upgrade from Windows 7 Starter to Windows 7 Ultimate

Maybe you just purchased a new laptop only for it to come with a Microsoft Windows 7 Starter edition, which has quite some limitations which includes the absence of aero glass, you cannot change your desktop backgrounds, no windows colours or sound schemes, you cannot switch between users without having to logout, it does not have a 64 bit version, no Windows Media Center for watching recorded TV or other media, no DVD playback, no multi-monitor support, no remote media streaming for streaming music, videos and recorded TV from your home computer and mainly it doesn’t have an XP mode for those that want the ability to run older Windows XP programs on Windows 7.

How to upgrade from Windows 7 Starter to Windows 7 Ultimate:

Now you are faced with the problem of either formatting your entire hard disk or getting a fresh Windows 7 Ultimate installed or upgrading to Windows 7 Ultimate from Windows 7 Starter. Considering you may lose your recovery partition out of mistake if you go in the path for formatting and re-installing. I will advice you upgrade your Windows 7 Starter to Windows 7 ultimate. So I am going to be teaching you the easy procedures on how you can achieve this even on your own.

Follow the following steps carefully and get your Windows 7 Starter upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate.

1         Go to “Start menu search “ and enter “Anytime Upgrade”  , when it comes up, select Windows anytime upgrade. How to upgrade from Windows 7 Starter to Windows 7 Ultimate

2         Then select “Enter an Upgrade Key” from the screen.

3         Then go to http://www.mediafire.com/?12y2j2njwy5 and download Windows 7 Anytime Upgrade keygen, generate a key with this and enter it in the space provided and click Next.

4         The key will now be sent for verification, if it passes a a valid key, then the Anytime Upgrade will automatically choose the correct version of Windows 7 to install based on the product key you entered, click next when this process has been completed.

5         Then click the “I accept” to accept the license agreement.

6         Now click “upgrade” to start upgrading your Windows 7 Starter to a higher version like Windows 7 Ultimate.

7         Then your system will download all the features of the new OS into your system after which your system will restart with a new OS.
