Imagine you have a very important mail to send/reply and you are not in a Wifi network range but you are with your iPad and a 3G phone? How are you going to make it possible to connect your iPad to the internet using your 3G phone. I am going to teach you  “How to browse the internet with you iPad using your 3G enabled phone.

The simple trick there is to turn your phone into a wifi hot spot. And how do you do that? Follow my instructions below carefully and learn how to tether your iPad with a 3G phone say Nokia N95, though you can do same with Android, Windows mobile phones and even jail broken iPhones.

Using a Nokia N95 for example, download and install the Joiku Hot Spot (or the appropriate application for your phone model from the list below),launch the application after installation, a pop up will ask you  if you want to allow sharing your internet connection with external devices, choose yes.

Then on the ipad go to settings, under “choose a network”, select your network and join. On successful syncing with your iPad, an internet connection will be established on your iPad. Launch your safari browser and start browsing on your iPad using your 3G enabled phone. If you like my blog posts,  Subscribe to NetMediaBlog Feeds by Email.
