Embed.ly is a WordPress plugin that makes it easy for content creators and bloggers to seamlessly embed any type of content from another source to their site. It could be videos, images, PDF, lists, tweets, Amazon products, news, Facebook posts, Fiverr Gigs, music and even article preview etc.

How to use Embed.ly Plugin
Download and install the Embed.ly WordPress plugin on your blog via the dashboard.
Activate the plugin on successful installation.
Visit Embed.ly website and create an account. Copy the Embed.ly Key given to you after a successful registration.
Click on the Embedly tab on your WordPress dashboard menu.
Enter the Embed.ly Key you copied above and Save Key.
Then click on the services you will often embed from and save.
Embed.ly WordPress plugin will simply add an Embedly Icon in your Rich Editor, so while composing your articles, simply click on the Embedly Icon and add the URL of the content you want to embed in your blog post.
Now let’s say I want to embed this Youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xp6PKi7zh1Y on my blog post, all i need to do is click on the Embed Icon and enter the Youtube video URL and click on the “Show” button and then save as illustrated on the image below.
Then Embed.ly will embed the Youtube video seamlessly on the blog post using Enbed.ly Card. Here is a sample embed of the Youtube video link above.
