Complete Windows 8 Keyboard Shortcuts

A lot of people are finding it a bit difficult finding their way around their PC with the new Microsoft Windows 8 OS. Microsoft actually added quite a good number of useful shortcuts to their latest OS. I want to share the Windows 8 keyboard shortcuts here with you so you can find your way around Windows 8 even easier.

But first I have to introduce you to the under-utilized Windows key until Windows 8. All Windows 8 shortcuts are based on this key, for anyone who may not know what the windows key is like see image below.

Complete Windows 8 Keyboard Shortcuts

Windows 8 keyboard shortcuts:

WinKey+Spacebar: Switch the input language and keyboard layout

WinKey+Shift+V: Reverse cycle through toasts

WinKey+Enter: Launch the narrator

WinKey+PgUp: Move tiles to the left

WinKey+PgDn: Move tiles to the right

WinKey+Shift+.: Move the split to the left

WinKey+.: Move the split to the right

WinKey+C: Display charms menu & time/date

WinKey+D: Display desktop

WinKey+E: Open windows explorer to “My Computer”

WinKey+F: Open File search panel

WinKey+H: Open share charm

WinKey+I: Open settings charm

WinKey+K: Open connect charm

WinKey+L: Lock computer

WinKey+O: Lock Screen rotation

WinKey+Q: Open Application Search Panel

WinKey+R: Open run

WinKey+V: Cycle through toasts

WinKey+W: Opens settings search panel

WinKey+ Y: Look at desktop

WinKey+Z: Opens the app bar
