Blackberry Z10 Whatsapp Contact Issues and How to solve

So many Blackberry Z10 users are having issues with the contact list on their Whatsapp. This is a common problem as many Blackberry Z10 users are complaining on every Blackberry Z10 forum seeking solution to the contact problem they are having after installing Whatsapp on their Blackberry Z10 device.

Blackberry Z10 Whatsapp contact seems to disappear every time you restart your Blackberry Z10 phone, the contact tab shows 0 (zero) contacts or sometimes the contacts may show only numbers without names or names without numbers, some may even have names with wrong profile pictures.

So read this post carefully for a solution on how to fix the Blackberry Z10 Whatsapp Contact problems. When you install Whatsapp on your Blackberry Z10, the apps tries to sync with Whatsapp server to determine the numbers that have been linked to their server and you have to bear in mind that you are not the only person trying to do this at any particular time. There are numerous requests on such servers which could lead to an incomplete action and then the app will fail to recognize your contacts.

How to fix Blackberry Z10 Whatsapp Contact Issue

So when you restart your Blackberry Z10, wait for at least 5 mins for your Whatsapp contacts to sync with Whatsapp server. Then if you can’t find your contacts on the contact tab on Whatsapp refresh the contact and favorites and wait for awhile, this should bring back your contacts. But if it doesn’t, check the app permission to see if Whatsapp has the right permission on your phone.

Another thing you can do to restore the contacts on your Whatsapp is to reboot your Blackberry Z10. Rebooting the phone will allow Whatsapp sync your contacts properly. As a last resort, if none of the above tips worked for you then uninstall the Whatsapp application from your Blackberry Z10 and re-install a fresh copy. Ensure to allow is the right permission on your phone and everything should work fine.

    Well, I’m not using Blackberry but I’ve a friend who is using it. He always used to complain about this. I will now redirect that friend to this article.

    The device is already overpriced in Indian market and company is on the verge of loosing everything.
