How to avoid plagiarism

April 16, 2014 By Nwosu Desmond 13 Comments

HOW TO AVOID PLAGIARISMThe question is strongly acute, especially nowadays, when even a person who isn’t a writer or a copywriter, faces plagiarism every day, making usual reports or articles. Today when your task is to write a small article you don’t need to go to library or book shop, like several years ago, to find necessary information. All you need is to open an internet and find the information you are looking for. The process is simple and takes a few seconds of your time. Sounds easy, but that is just an illusion.

When you surf the internet and research the information, there is a huge possibility you can accidentally commit plagiarism. When you turn to the “copy-paste” method, you can be victimized by plagiarism, actually not even realizing it. So how not to become the victim of plagiarism, if you are not a good writer or you trivially don’t have good imagination to write magnificent article?

 OUTCOME EXISTS!

HOW TO AVOID PLAGIARISMFirst thing you need to do, is to check your text on specialized websites. There are tons of different checkers and detectors of plagiarism. The question is, which one we should use? In general we can divide them in 2 categories: paid and free. A lot of people prefer free versions, and sometimes it can become a mistake, because actually not all of them are reliable and can give you a good quality of checking. But almost all paid plagiarism checkers can provide you with special bonuses for example: 10 pages of checking for free, or trial period.

The main advantage of these tools is that they give you efficient and more reliable service, which you can trust. Other advantages are simplicity in use and speed of checking. Less than a minute and your text has already been checked. You don’t need to find necessary button or some option, all is simple and clear. For example, after creating an account in contentplagiarismchecker.com you will be able to check 275 words for free, with only few clicks.

 RESULTS!

HOW TO AVOID PLAGIARISMAfter the article has checked, this website will show you all links that the text is copied. Also it will show original sources from where the text has been copied. This tool also shows the percentage of plagiarized text. Another important thing is money back guarantee.

Today plagiarism received a status of a global disease and there are only a few methods to combat it. Actually using such plagiarism checkers is the one of the best methods to avoid plagiarism. More and more people begin to use them in everyday life at least in order to make sure that the information they read, or work with is not plagiarized.

Plagiarism kills the reputation of a blogger and a blog. It is important to avoid it by all means. Any blogger that really wants to keep his reputation and enjoy success should find the best plagiarism checker around. Apart from contentplagiarismchecker.com it would still be good to checkout Copyscape

    Hi Nwosu,

You said it right. Times have changed. Information can be accessed and obtained at the click of a few buttons, thanks to the Internet! While this is good, there has been rising instances of plagiarism.

Yes, free plagiarism checking tools have their own limits, I mean quality wise. Basically, the paid ones provide you the type of service (good quality) that you pay for!

The tool website mentioned by you in the article needs to be given a try by me. First, a free trial will do! :)

I found the link to this post on Kingged.

    Hello Nwosu,

It’s a great idea to check your work for plagiarism before either publishing or sending it in for evaluation. Apart from blogging, I also write academic papers for various academic writing agencies and these companies, believe me, take plagiarism very serious.

The tool I use is the Plagiarism Checker on the Small SEO Tools website. It’s free – and great: a very rare combination…

I appreciate your bringing this issue up!

    Always,
    Terungwa

    Hi Nwosu,

There are tools out there where you can put an article from the Internet in this tool and even though you just copied and pasted it from the Internet into this software, when you use copyscape, it shows that the article is 100% unique. The article looks exactly the same and nothing has changed, not one word.

I think this should be illegal. What do you think?
Good article and thanks for you viewpoint.

Thanks Geri for your awesome contribution and yes it is illegal to copy someone’s work and Google and other search engines are heavily punishing people found guilty of this act.
