3 Arsenal tools you will need for SEO blogging success

August 5, 2013 By Adesanmi Adedotun 36 Comments

For your blog to be easily be found in search engine results, you need a good knowledge of search engine optimization simply referred to as SEO. Some SEO blogging software may be helpful in achieving high ranking in search engine results. With the listed SEO blogging tools below, you will be able to bring together the power of blogging.

1. Statistical Analysis Tool: Many people called this traffic analyzer. This is really needed in understanding the power of blog SEO,  if really you want to have knowledge about the recent blog SEO you engaged in , whether you are doing it the best way it should be done or you need to put more effort. There are many tools that are available for this but I prefer Statcounter or better still Google owned tool (Google analytic). These SEO blogging tools are very great and at the same time, they are user friend and doesn’t required you being an expert before you can make use of it.

2. Integrate RSS feeds to your blog: RSS feed stand for REALLY SIMPLE SYNDICATION; I know that many bloggers make use of this, but I need to call your attention to this, that it really works when talking about SEO. Hope you can just flash back, and remember some of the orange like button that link to other site with some texts? This SEO blogging tool easily publish your blog posts automatically to other relevant site without giving you much stress but the negative part of RSS is that many people don’t like reading its updates.

3. Bookmarking site: This is one of the best ways to generate traffic to blog which I believed many bloggers make use of and they have one or two testimonies about this. Some reliable social bookmarking I knew about are; Reddit, StumbleUpon, Bizsugar, etc. But I will say before you start making use of this SEO blogging tool, the following tips must be properly understood.

I. Develop a strategic marketing means, concentrate on how to generate a reasonable blog content or post, and publish it to social bookmarking site to connect with other bloggers about the awesome post you have created.

II. The strategic method developed must include how to write catchy blog headline that will attract visitors to your site or blog from these bookmarking site.

III. Introductory part must be properly channeled towards attracting your co-bloggers on social bookmarking site so that your goal of the post will be accomplished.

IV. Choose the right category for your bookmarking update, choose category according to your blog keyword so that the purpose of the tools will be achieved, and for the post to accomplish its goal so as to reach many people out there.

NOTE: Slow and steady win the race, make sure you understand one of this tool before proceeding to the next one.

Conclusion: There are many SEO blogging tools that are available on the internet that bloggers can make use of but I can be sure that; these tools are really the best to make use of as it really counts.

Hi Adesanmi, good to see you at Nwosu’s blog :)

I liked the tools mentioned for SEO, though I hardly use any except for Google Webmasters, which I still need to learn how to use properly yet! Yes, there are many bloggers who go in for the paid tools nowadays though I really wonder if it really makes that much of a major difference, when SEO is kind of becoming a game of the past.

Or shall I say that Google now prefers more of a variation of keywords used, instead of the proper SEO techniques that we followed earlier. Yet, some posts rank better than the others, while the ones you target – never rank at all. It all gets rather confusing as to what really works or what doesn’t – isn’t it?

Just yesterday I was watching Matt’s video where he said that if your content is unique it will attract people, even if you don’t use any SEO or just use it minimal, and of course, write it free flow and now restrict it to a few 4-5-600 word kind of post. So, things keep changing and I think we just need to be a little aware and try out things and see what suits us.

Ah…bookmarking sites I still need to explore well enough, which is again on my to-do list as they do help your post rank higher and faster on Google, as compared to it’s natural way of ranking I think.

Thanks for sharing. Have a nice week ahead, both of you :)

Thanks Harleena for your awesome contribution to this post, its always nice to have you here and as you rightly mentioned SEO is becoming a thing of the past, i have also wondered why i rank for even posts i didn’t work hard for while i may not perform that well with others i may have spent a lot of time preparing and promoting?

Google and other search engines now expect us to write posts in a free flowing manner without the troubles of trying to fix keywords at strategic places that some times break the flow of a post. Thanks for visiting i hope you visit often.

Hello Adesanmi and welcome to Nwosu’s blog :)

You are indeed sport on with your tips. while i don’t know much about SEO and how they actually work, i do use statcounter to it’s fullest, like; knowing where my traffic is coming from the most and focus my energy there. i also do use Google analytic but not as effective as i use statcounter :)

Talking about the social bookmarking site, it looks like i am becoming a pro at doing it :) . I do know that posting your links in the right category will definitely help your traffic.

This post is indeed worth it :) . Do take care, both of you…

Really Grate post . But for a successful blogging career you must have to follow all the seo step rather than bookmarking only . You must do directory submission , article submission , commenting . bookmarking , forum post and other seo efforts

    Harleen,

SEO often is confusing and Matt is always there to make you more confused rather than helping to learn how it works. It must be because Matt works for Google, he is there to defend.

In most of his videos I find Matt explaining what Google wishes rather than explaining how it’s search engines works. Almost all of his tips are guidelines Google want’s to impose on webmasters and bloggers. To learn the real ground and know how SEO Engines works, you need to set out of company representatives and look for SEO Experts and experimenters.

Recently I read Glen’s post in his blog. That’s really an eye opening post. Glen points out a few tips that pushes your posts to first page of Google (though Google denies). A few of the tips I remembered were like:

    * Update post date to most recent one – Google has an unfair favor to the fresh content than more authorized and relevant posts.

    * Get links from Google sister sites like YouTube. Though Google always denies, the links from YouTube is far more effective than DailyMotion and so om

    * Get Exact Match Domain Name – Google’s EMDs update claimed that exact matched domains are penalized if found spamming. But again and again, we find the posts with exact-match-domains ranking top in search results.

There are few other findings and tips but for that you’ll have to visit his post.

    Amrrish,

I suspect if directory submission and article submissions are still effective for SEO purpose. Forum posting used to be really great to build links, but when Google started to look for how many different anchor texts, I guess huge links with same signature text as backlinks won’t add much to SEO. Howerver, I do not deny the effectiveness of forum to build authority and driving traffic.

    Hi Adesanmi,
