10 iPad Tricks To Know

If you are an iPad user, you know that there is an instruction you get when buying the tablet. There you found the descriptions of the main function of the tablet, but iPad is a complicated gadget that all possible “tricks” cant be listed in one book. And today I would like to share some very interesting iPad tricks that can make your work with iPad easier, faster and more convenient. So, get ready to read, test and remember.

10 iPad Tricks you should know:

1)      Cut-copy-paste

Did you know that if to click any text (of course that can be edited) for four (!) times, you may cut, copy and paste it anywhere you would like to?

2)      Quick Mute

To do it fast you will have to switch off the loudspeaker by pressing the volume button for two seconds. And voilà, the quick mute state is on.

3)      Rapid webpage scrolling

When you finish reading the post, you will need just to make a click at the title panel and you will be taken to the top of the page.

4)      E-mails preview

If you need to see a preview of e-mails you get on you iPad (just about 5 lines of it), follow Settings – E-mail – Contact Persons and Address Book and change the “Preview” option.

5)      Hidden compass

Did you ever think that there is one in your iPad? Just make a double click on “My location” in a map program.

6)      Website name input

Are you tired of texting different .orgs, .nets? Press the “.com” button for some time and you will get ready-made options.

7)      Leave without shutting

Do you need to see a home screen without closing an app? 5-second long push on the Home key will make it for you.

8)      Force application shut

Follow these steps: press the Sleep button (till you see the following message “to shut it down by removing the slider”), let the button go, press the Home button for 5 sec. And the unwanted application will shut down and you will go back to the home screen.

9)      Backstage music control

Do you want to play another song or to make a volume louder without exit from the app you are working with? Press Home button twice and you will get a menu to be able to do any changes you want.

10)   Simultaneous work of virtual and external keyboards

Just one click on the outlay keyboard will lead to the appearance of the virtual one.
